Newborn Chiropractic & Craniosacral Therapy at Hunt Vitality

Birth is a powerful beginning—but it’s rarely gentle on a baby’s body. Even in the most peaceful, natural births, the process of entering the world can create significant physical strain and even injuries on a baby’s little precious body. And most births are complicated with interventions and unforeseen circumstances that create more potential for a baby to have a harder time.

While there is so much attention placed on the trauma of birth, real importance to a person’s long-term spinal health happens in utero, with what is called Intrauterine constraint. This is a term used to describe the limited space within the womb and the constraint patterns it creates in the human body. Babies spend weeks or months in fixed positions that place uneven pressure on their head, spine, hips, shoulders, or feet. These patterns can lead to subtle misalignments and tension that affect the baby’s ability to feed, sleep, settle, digest, and even more importantly, grow in a balanced, aligned way for future full body health.

At Hunt Vitality, we specialize in treating babies with gentle chiropractic and craniosacral care to help them unwind those early patterns of restrictions. Since 2009, we’ve safely and effectively supported newborns and their families through this delicate and integral stage of development.
