Vitality Blood Panels
Get to Know Your Health Through Objective Information
Blood testing can provide useful information about many aspects of health, nutrition, and physiology.
At Hunt Vitality, laboratory information is one of the tools we may use to help patients better understand their health and make informed decisions about nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle, and overall wellness.
Our Vitality Blood Panels include a selection of commonly used laboratory markers along with additional markers that may provide helpful context for conversations about nutrition and wellness.
Our goal isn't simply to collect more data. It's to help you better understand the information you have and use it thoughtfully as part of your overall health and wellness journey.
When Might You Consider Bloodwork?
You may be interested in obtaining laboratory testing if you:
Have not had comprehensive bloodwork recently
Want objective information to help guide your nutrition and wellness goals
Are working on energy, performance, recovery, or overall vitality
Want to establish baseline information that can be followed over time
Are interested in taking a more proactive role in understanding your health
Want additional information to discuss with your healthcare providers
Laboratory testing should not replace appropriate medical evaluation when you are experiencing unexplained, persistent, or concerning symptoms.
Choose Your Blood Panel
Hunt Vitality provides access to cash-pay laboratory panels through Fullscript, giving you the flexibility to choose from available testing options based on the health and wellness information you are interested in exploring.
You select and purchase your laboratory testing directly through the Fullscript platform.
Dr. Heather Hunt, D.C., does not personally issue the laboratory requisition. The laboratory requisition is issued through the medical provider associated with Fullscript's laboratory platform.
How It Works
1. Choose Your Testing
Explore the available blood-panel options through Fullscript and select the testing that best fits your interests and wellness goals.
2. Complete Your Blood Draw
After purchasing your testing, follow the instructions provided by Fullscript and the laboratory regarding your blood draw, including location, timing, fasting requirements, and any other test-preparation instructions.
3. Review Your Results
Once your results are available, you can schedule a Functional Medicine & Wellness visit with Dr. Heather Hunt, D.C.
During your visit, Dr. Hunt can review your available laboratory information with you in the context of nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle, and overall wellness.
If laboratory findings raise concerns that warrant medical evaluation, you will be encouraged to share those results with your primary care physician or another appropriately licensed medical provider.
Personalized Nutrition & Wellness Support
Laboratory information can provide additional context when developing your nutrition and wellness strategy.
After reviewing your available laboratory information, Dr. Heather and our Functional Nutritionist, Ali, may work with you on areas such as:
Nutrition — Strategies designed around your nutritional and wellness goals
Lifestyle — Sleep, movement, hydration, stress management, and other healthy habits
Supplementation — Individualized nutritional supplementation when appropriate
Education — Helping you better understand laboratory information and questions you may want to discuss with your healthcare providers
Follow-Up — Tracking your wellness goals and making appropriate adjustments to your nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle strategies
Our focus is on helping you use objective information thoughtfully rather than guessing about your nutritional and wellness needs.
Looking at Trends Over Time
One of the benefits of establishing baseline laboratory information is having something objective to compare over time.
Rather than relying on a single laboratory value in isolation, laboratory information can be considered alongside your health history, nutrition, lifestyle, wellness goals, and other information available to you and your healthcare providers.
Repeat testing, when appropriate, may also provide useful information about changes over time and help inform ongoing conversations about nutrition, supplementation, and wellness.
Laboratory information reviewed at Hunt Vitality is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or medical care. Findings that warrant medical assessment should be evaluated by an appropriately licensed medical provider.
